A 7-Bedroom Short-Term Rental That Blends Luxury, Fun, and Functionality
Designing a successful short-term rental isn’t just about looks—it’s about creating an experience. That was our mission with The Arlington Oasis, a spacious 7-bedroom property in North Carolina now listed on Airbnb as a high-performing group retreat.
Our goal? Create a space where families, sports teams, and large groups could relax, play, and feel completely at home—all while helping the host increase booking potential and reviews.
🎯 The Design Goals
This property came with massive potential: tons of square footage, a large backyard, and entertainment features. But it needed a cohesive design plan to bring it all together and make it “Airbnb-ready.”
We focused on:
Maximizing guest capacity without compromising comfort
Highlighting amenities like the sport court, hot tub, and golf putting green
Designing a flow that feels warm, intentional, and easy to navigate
Using clean, durable finishes that photograph beautifully
🛋️ Interior Vibes: Elevated Comfort for Large Groups
Inside, we kept things light and fresh—neutral palettes with textures and earthy accents. From the living room to each of the 7 bedrooms, we created zones that feel relaxing, clean, and photo-worthy.
Key design touches:
Soft layered bedding and hotel-style setups
Furniture layout optimized for conversation and group lounging
Intentional color palette with modern rustic influence
Thoughtful touches like greenery, curated wall art, and lighting accents

What truly sets this Airbnb apart is its entertainment-first outdoor setup—and we made sure the design called attention to it.
Full-size basketball/pickleball court with space to play or relax
Putting green styled with clean lines and tropical landscaping
Outdoor hot tub area staged with cozy seating and ambient lighting
Game zone styled for fun photos and functionality
By designing these areas intentionally, guests feel like they’re getting a premium experience—without having to leave the property.
